Recently I've found joy in taking photos, selfies, etc on my phone and editing them, and it's oddly calming. Just nature and the cool things you can see being preserved is fun. My dad has a professional camera that he said he'll teach me how to use too (yippee!)
Songwriting
Since I was 8 I've played piano, and since i was 10 I've played the guitar. I've always found interest in having a musical career, as I feel music is a sort of sacred art. In such, I started doing real songwriting this year and already have 35 songs in the span of half a year. cuz when I can't sleep, i just pick up a pen and start writing. It's really cool to be able to do that stuff so easily and i can't wait to show my band the songs I end up writing.
My Music Gear
Ok. So my main and only guitar is my sticker-bombed, olympic white stratocaster. It's the one i'll use to record slow.
I usually run that into either:
A Boss DS-2 For Higher-end tones
or
A TC Electronic Grand Magus For tones with more Low-end (rat clone).
Then for Modulation i use a Behringer Fx600.
My amp is a Squier Frontman 10g. It might not be the priciest or fanciest, but it gets the job done decently. I really want a marshall dsl tho.
My Dream Rig is a car (candy apple red) Fender Jaguar with a black pickguard, ebony neck and matching headstock for guitar, running into a ProCo Rat 2 (Preferably 90s or 80s model), Boss CE-2, Boss GE-7, and Some sort of feedbacker. My dream amp is a tricky decision, though i'd probably go for a marshall that can handle cleans decently so I can go through dirty and clean as i wish.

So in February I met two people. Anita (plays bass and guitar) and Cruz (drummer). Since I play guitar and sing I thought it would be sick for us to have a band together. Thankfully we all like the same genre: Pop Punk/Punk Rock. So we started a band: Exit 194 (named after our hometown kind of). So we started writing music and we play those songs . We got our first show scheduled in 3 weeks (as of may 10th 2026). So it's been really fun jamming with Anita and Cruz.
Song Analysis and Lore
So we play punk rock as mentioned earlier but I didn't mention much about the songs. Drown is written by Cruz (edited by me tho because he can't rhyme if his life depended on it) and I'm pretty sure its about a guy that can't have some girl cuz he took too long and shes taken? idk.
Sketches is a fictional tale about cheating and how the girl finally finds out. It was the first song I wrote specifically for Exit 194.
Lose is a song by a band called One track mind my dad lived with in Y2K. I can't find anything about them online.
Lipstick Anthem is a classic he/she persective shift thing. basically the dude is a suckup and the girl is depressed.
Better Luck next year (or B.L.N.Y.) is about my ex. I don't like her anymore.
There's loads more songs I've written but I haven't showed them to the band yet.
We also play the occasional Green Day or Nirvana cover from time to time.
BIG NEWS.
So over the past month or two we've been thinking about recording an EP or single, and since it's the school holidays, we're recording over the next two weeks!
The EP will be called......
"slow."
It's kind of a nod to the title of Green Day's 5th album "nimrod.", also being yellow and black. But that's cuz on a traffic light slow is yellow.
(the cover)
so anyways i'm really excited to record it with anita and cruz, because not only did my dad buy this RAD mixer, we've saved up to record at a studio, although that will mainly be drums purely because i don't have a kit at home.
also we have the TGIF show set in stone for july 31st. I'll record it and try to make some sort of release.
I've been listening to a lot of alternative rock and indie recently. The Smiths, Jeff Buckley, Panchiko, Roar, the likes.
List of Masterpieces

Recently I've been playing minecraft alot with my friends (the two week phase has hit). Today I joined a world that my good friends Pippa and Damo (nickname for privacy) made, and built a house, grinded, and eventually we beat the dragon. Next we want to: 1. Get Eleytras 2. Build Nether Portals for transport 3. Clear the WHOLE forest near us
I can't wait to continue to play it with them. Seed: 5697346272363765406 (travel to a plains biome)
While it's currently the school holidays, school is exhausting. In the past month i've had 6 assignments, friendship dramas, lost phones, found phones, etc. It's like they just put maths, english, history, science, digital technologies and languages in a blender and it's the equivelent of a tomato milkshake. It's also the only time Exit 194 gets to rehearse though, so atleast that's something to look forward to.
Favourite / Least Favourite Subjects and Data
Favs: Math, English, Digital Tech, Science.
Least Favs: Languages, History
I have a feeling maths will either become really easy or hell soon because we have to learn algebra. I'm pretty good at algebra already though so i'll be fine (i hope.) One time at the end of a test I wrote the chorus to a song I have planned for Exit.
English is easy. That's pretty much all I have to say. My teacher's awesome and in term 4 we have to write a song for an assessment (this is gonna be an easy A+)
DigiTech is over now cuz the semester has turned. Hoping I'll get Music next semester.
Science is meh.
History is Hell on earth. this semester it's geography though and i love geography so i'm actually kind of looking forward to it.
My Happy Place is my bedroom. It's the place where I sleep, sometimes eat, game, listen to music, watch tv, etc. It's nice being able to come home from a place like school and just have somewhere to do absolutely nothing or everything at once. I personally love coming home from school, sitting on my bed and just scrolling or checking messages despite the lack of dopamine. Also blasting Deftones and such too loudly is just so peak.
We watch Curious George together. if thats not romance idk what is. All jokes aside, she is an amazing person and I'm glad to be her boyfriend. We've been dating for almost a year, and she's by far the best GF I've ever had. I know that's something all people say when it's their current partner but I genuinely mean it.
5 Facts about my GF
1. She's awesome in every way possible 2. She loves anime. like its all she watches and talks about. 3. She's a drummer (we jam together sometimes) 4. She writes manga 5. She couldn't decide on what 5 should be
